I play (or have played) every instrument I write for, to varying degrees. For me, writing music is an extension of playing, which is why I am so careful about playability, and your playing enjoyment.

On this site you will find music for clarinet, flute, Native American-style flute, tin whistle, recorder, violin, viola, cello, finger-style ukulele and baritone ukulele, mandolin and trombone, in dozens of solo and ensemble combinations.

I hold degrees in music education and clarinet performance from Heidelberg College (now Heidelberg University.)

I am a lover of nature, animals, and the great outdoors. Nature photography is a hobby I enjoy, and at home I share my life with my husband, our rescued cat, Heather, and a leopard gecko named Mango.
